Tardano Garnacha 2020

Tardano is a dry red wine that is made from the varietal - Garnacha by Agrícola La Portera. The fruit for production comes from two different vineyards located in Almonacid de la Sierra in the Aragon region.

The grapes grow at an altitude of 650 metres above sea level, on limestone and clay soils. The fermentation process of the wine takes place naturally, spontaneously, in stainless steel tanks, using natural yeasts. The wine is then matured for a period of 12 months, 90% of which is spent in underground concrete tanks and 10% undergoing maturation in used 500 litre French oak barrels.

This arrangement preserves the wine's original aroma and distinctive fruit flavour. The result is an innovative, elegant and refined wine.

On the nose with notes of cherries, blackcurrant, blackberries with a slight hint of vanilla 

On the palate, fruity with a delicate hint of green pepper, subtle liquorice, a slight peppery aftertaste and a delicate mineral touch. It also has a long finish that leaves a memorable impression on the palate.
