Sangria is a refreshing wine-based drink with intense notes of citrus and natural fruits. A hint of cinnamon adds depth and character to its flavor and aroma. It is well balanced in acidity while offering a fresh and fruity taste, perfect for hot days. It is best served well chilled (4–6°C) with ice cubes, in a large wine glass or a tumbler.
Sangria can be served with slices of orange, lemon, lime, or grapes. A cinnamon stick and a mint leaf also pair beautifully, as well as olives, patatas bravas, croquetas, grilled vegetables, and semi-hard cheeses.
